MicroImages encourages its professional clients to explore the development of a unique geospatial products concept called an APPLIDAT (APPLIcation plus DATa). An APPLIDAT combines a software application written in SML with the data upon which the application operates.

APPLIDATs allow you to create very easy-to-use, self-contained, turnkey geospatial products of your own. The simplest feature of APPLIDATs is that the end user does not have to hunt for the associated geodata. The geodata in the Project File you prepare for them is automatically used by the turnkey SML applications that you store in the same Project File. The user of an APPLIDAT does not need to know anything about the underlying TNT products, its operation, or how to find the geodata required for the application.
